Medium-sized .32 ACP (7.65mm) pistols.

The Star Model SI or super rare DKI rate right along with my 1932 era PPK and post war PP, all accurate and reliable shooters.

" I don't believe you listed the NAA 32acp Guardian or the Kel-Tec 32acp."
The Guardian uses their own proprietary ammunition. And the Kel-Tec I believe is a pocket pistol, not medium-sized.

Re: "Well, the Colt 1903 might be nice as some people say but it was only sold recently as a anniversary special (and a bit expensive). The FN 1910/1922 was produced until 1983 according to Wikipedia. I wanted the list to be most of the more recent models..."

Does it really matter if the gun was recently produced if they are impossible to find? I did a search for FEG PA-63 in Gunbroker and got 0 hits. There are at least 55 Colt 1903's and over 20 FN 1922's for sale that I could find doing the most basic search.

If the goal is to compile a list for the sake of helping others save time researching it doesn't make sense to leave off some of the most popular 32's ever produced.

I actually just did a search for every one of the guns listed on the "out of production" list and there are more Colts for sale than any of the other models listed.

I don't think there are any others falling all over themselves to own a mid sized 32acp. And finding them on GB is a no brainer.

Well, the fact that .32 ACP handguns are a bit more scarce is the reason why I posted this list. Besides, if some of these pistols are not already imported in the U.S., I posted this list wondering if there would be enough interest to motivate an importer to bring them to the U.S.

I'm not assuming everyone is aware of GunBroker. I'm hoping that message was not caused by a mild form of cognitive distortion.

Kannok if you can generate enough interest to have some imported I am all for it. I like anything that has to do with 32 caliber guns. But the mindset of most shooters is that they want at least a 380 and even better a 9mm. A lot set the 9mm as a minimum caliber for SD.

I'm not assuming everyone is aware of GunBroker.

Trust me. Everyone here is aware of gunbroker.

I have my Manhurin/Walther PP and that pretty much fills the bill for a mid sized 32acp for me. Only if I got one heck of a deal on another 32 would I buy it.

My 32acp "accumulation" now consists of two mid size. A Walther Manhurin PP, and a CZ50. But only one Mousegun in 32. That being a Kel-Tec P32. If I find a good deal on a Beretta Tomcat I woud certainly even things up.

I found out something very interesting. More weapons have been chambered for the 32 acp (or 7.65 Browning) than any other cartridge. (see Wikipedia) So your request for info on pistols chambered for it should end up very long. I, personally, have had five.

They are a joy to shoot, but difficult to reload for because of the small size of the cartridge and limited choice of bullets.

The 32 acp can be used in 30-06s (and other rifles) with a chamber insert -- that's a joy, too. They can also be used in my 327 mag revolver because they chamber on the rim (though not recommended.) The chamber on the rim sometimes causes feeding problems from the magazine if one isn't careful.

Needless to say, the 32 acp is one of my favorites.

I can't predict the future or what I will do later but I'm starting to think if I ever wanted dual-citizenship to import and export pistols in .32 ACP, it may be the following guns: Sarsilmaz B6C, Girsan MC13, Beretta 81 FS and Tanfoglio FT7 (or RT7). The first two apparently (from the limited info I could find) are likely locked-breech designs. And the other 2 are blowback.

^^^^ According to the U.S.-market manual on the Zenith Firearms website, the Girsan MC13 is blowback. This seems to contradict their Turkish website, but the manual illustrations clearly show a blowback pistol, so my assumption is that the website has Turkish-to-English translation errors. It's difficult to translate technical jargon, as anyone who has read a 1970s Japanese auto or motorcycle service manual can attest. ;)

Also note that Zenith is apparently no longer importing the MC13 into the United States, although they still catalog the .380 MC14.

Why would someone buy a nice pistol like that and then strangle it with a 32acp round??? What a waste of a good gun.

I'd wonder how they dealt with the rimlock question on a high capacity magazine. The CZ83 had problems at 15 rounds until they redesigned the mag.

I seem to be on a 32 acp acquisition kick lately. This year I've added a new Tomcat 3032 in stainless, Bernardelli Model 60, and a Kel-Tec P32 Gen 1. This is in addition to the SBR'D VZ61, CZ70, and Seecamp 32 I acquired last year. On my way to work on Friday I stopped into a little hole in the wall Pawn Shop near me that sells guns. They had a Savage 1917 and FN 1922 both in 32 for sale. I didn't have time to look closely because I was going to be late for work. But, I might have to go back this next week and see if I can make a deal for one or both?

Heck, these are fun little pistols as well...
they get a bad rap from gun snobs,
but mine works quite well, and have no problem trusting it.
At least, after finding out they don't like 73-grain ammo at all...lol

Large handed guys shouldn't wear gloves with 'em, tho ;)
ERMA KGP68A, comes in .32acp/7.65-Browning, and .380acp.
