Watch bullet velocity with Berry's Spire points!
2000 FPS is the max for Berry's 123 Spire Point. Using most published data will typically push the bullet well past 2000. I found the best results with IMR 4198, 23.1 grains which maxed out at around 2000 FPS out of a 16-1/2" barrel. The best group out of the Ruger American Ranch 7.62X39 was with 22.0 grains of IMR 4198, which resulted in 1900 FPS muzzle velocity.
