AFAIK, that is correct; but since that stock is so clearly original, not to mention numbered to the gun, that there should be no question as to its legality under Federal law. I don't think any state has a similar law on shoulder stock pistols, but it would not hurt to check the law of the state in question.

One of the first guns I owned was a Mauser C-96, along with the shoulder stock. Fascinating handgun but the attachment fitting of the shoulder stock was wobbly and detracted from the utility somewhat. They were the thing to have for a few years--around 1900.
