Marlin model 57 levermatic 22mag

I have a old marlin 57 that was my grandads he was short armed so YEP! the stock got shorter I'm trying to find a stock for it but thats like finding hens teeth. I know a sears mod. 44DL will work its just not walnut. Anyone out there know what else will fit? Thanks for any info.;)
 
Two thoughts for keeping grandpa the way he was. 1) Get a snug-fitting recoil pad with a thick butt. 2) Find a similar piece of wood and use your craftsman talent to lengthen the stock an inch or two. It can be done. Not so's you can't see it, but it can be done. Then, every time you use it you will think of grampop.
