Marlin Lever 39A - Worth the Price?

A dedicated black powder shooter gave me a Marlin 39 Centennial {circa 1970}, in very good condition. Anybody know what it's worth?

The centennial Marlin was the Marlin Century Limited Carbine.
It was a 20 inch octagon barreled, straight stock model with brass buttplate, forearm cap, and name plate in the stock.
There were 35,388 made in 1970.
Value in 95% original condition would be at least $450.

I have a 1983 Golden 39A that I bought new in 1985. It is a very accurate, very fun rifle.

I have a bunch of .22 rifles but my Model 39 is still one of my all time favorites.

I have no idea what it is worth but that doesn't matter. :)

driving nails

Today I put on a 3x9x40 and after zeroing got the bright idea to attempt to drive nails at 30'. Well it is not the rifles fault. 4,,, 16 penny nails and in 38 shots I was able to bend 2 nails and clip the side of the head on 2 nails the gun shoots true and I am sure a man with a steady hand can do this. I think I was trying to hard, that and I do wear tri focals
