Marlin Guide Gun .45-70

I love my Marlin GS. I only shoot hand loads and I load them tward the upper end. I did not buy A 45-70 to shoot 300 gr bullets at 1300fps. I like the 535gr piledrivers at near 1600.

For light loads I shoot A smaller rifle. A little kick wont kill ya.:D
 
Marlin 1895SBL does truly NASTY things to wild hog :D
Makes deer just fall over...BOOM-PLOP :D

The best thing, Marlin includes a high-quality factory recoil pad on the SBL :D
Makes shooting the thing a lot more manageable!!

And...get the Marlin Leather Sling if you can...Numrich has 'em on occasion...and Marlin before the move had 'em all the time.
Keep bugging Marlin/Remington until they get 'em back in stock :)
