Making the Bodyguard bearable

The bad news is that Uncle Mike's/Butler Creek is no longer making any grips at all except for the 'slip-on' rubber sleeve grips for semi-autos. The boot and full-size grip designs that were licensed from Craig Spegel have been discontinued. The rumor is that Mr. Spegel and Butler Creek could not come to terms over renewal of the licensing agreement.

So unless Mr. Spegel licenses his designs to another manufacturer, there will be no new rubber Spegel grips. This is really too bad, insofar as the Butler Creek boot grips for revolvers were my favorite, and I have probably bought 10 or so sets over the years.
 
Doesn't eagle offer a concealment grip for J's?


Was shooting wifey's M38 Sunday -- Pachmayr Decelerators and a fanny pack :D
 
I'll second (third?) what Majic said.

I prefer the Centennial, as there's no way for something to get behind the hammer and prevent it from cocking. I have heard of this happening with a bodyguard.

Looks is another matter, but I won't go into that.
