Sorry, but I don't know of any curent source of EG Maks. There was a store in Sacramento (that also sells through Shotgun News under a different name) that had a bunch of them (100+ I think) - but that was a year or so ago. I don't remember seeing them last time I was there (although I wasn't really looking for them, so they might still have some). It is Old Sacramento Armory on "J" Street.
I do see some used Maks in the used/consignment racks in stores. I was in a store a few weeks ago and a cople came in wanting to sell one (a Russian, I think), along with about six boxes of ammo. They talked to me while they were waiting for an employee and asked what struck me as a fairly high price for it. When they finally made the deal with the store (which wasn't too interested), they wound up selling it for around $80 or so I think (about half what they quoted me). When I got to thinking that the ammo alone was worth at least $30, I wished I'd dickered with them a little. ANY working Mak has got to be worth $50. And I think the store would have been okay to just make the DROS processing fee and be done with it. Oh well.
