They are not yet 50 years old, the Bulgarians.

Neither is my 1961 East German.

They just aren't considered "collectible" by the BATF.

I thought I had heard that Russians and East Germans were C&R. Read about some folks in California that were able to get some because they are so designated. Also seem to recall that the Bulgarians were not C&R for some reason. There must be a website on C&R that would say if they are or not.

I got two E. German Maks with my C&R a couple of years ago from a reputable dealer.

I meant that my '61 EG is less than 50 years old, yet still C&R, while the Bulgarians aren't collectible in the eyes of the BATF.
