Magazine dropping on draw

What brand style holster?
Have you taken your CCW course yet?

I'd recommend you get with the instructor and have him watch you draw.
Something is screwed up with either the holster or your draw.

90% of the world's semi-auto pistols do not have reversible mag releases. Learn to use your index finger of your left hand to release the magazine.
 
I have not taken the course yet. In a month or so hopefully.

I don't see how it could have anything to do with my draw since my fingers are no where near the magazine release.
