M40 in 6.5x47 lapua?

I'm talking about the rifle in the video zak, not your AI. They used your AI as the picture. The video has a m700 in a McM A1-3, some gunsmithing work, and what looks like Badger DBM.

And yes haha i know the AI and the 700 are two completely different actions ;)

Good to hear they payed up hehe.

Here's the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH7EKlScB7Q

6.5x47 is a very accurate cartridge. In the practical long-range shooting world that I'm a part of, the .260 Remington is dominant over the other two 6.5's. It has more ballistic performance than 6.5x47 and with Lapua .260 Remington brass now available, the .260's only real deficiency has been addressed.

I watched that show and was wondering about the 6.5X47 Lapua. The show indicated they (Military) were looking for less recoil and a flatter shooting bullet? What bullet weight / speed is this round? It looks like a winner.
