M&P 9c vs Shield the age old debate

For me compact is fine. Some like them smaller. I carry full size most of the time yet the 9C accuracy surprised me. Granted the trigger on the one I have shot was what some consider too light for carry and it added to gun movement, or the lack thereof. It showed the potential that most compacts never did.

I get that the same potential can be unleashed in another compact, my point was just the accuracy achieved. Really was on par with a stock full size at 15 yards without having to adjust to the trigger. Just shows how much a trigger can make a difference. I am talking about a 2lb trigger. Super light. No reason to try to feel the break coming because it was so short and a sneeze set it off.

FWIW we are really just comparing Compact to subcompact. The shield feels good in the hand for a small gun. Never shot one. Think I will.

Yeah, I was definitely exaggerating a bit. It's not a massive difference, the Shield is just a bit less chubby, which matters to me. I think they're both pretty squared away options.
