M&P 22 Compact vs. Ruger SR22

Guess I'll have to feed that federal to one of my other hungry 22's.

I can't wait to go pick it up tomorrow. I only wish I had a backyard range to test it at.
 
Picked up the Ruger today and I can say it clearly needs fondling. Oh by the way they took the trigger lock off and then replaced it with another. I never actually held it without a trigger lock till I got home.

I emailed the company twice asking about why the trigger lock crazyness and never got a reply. Maybe I should see if I can find a customer service number because it detours me from buying there again although I like the store and people there.

The up side is the matched the on sale gander mountian price without even seeing the ad. I had two flyers in my car just in case.

Finger floor plates have been installed along with the small grip and a stainless recoil rod. This is going to make a great birthday present friday.
 
Well that went over quite well. She likes the Ruger and there's birthday cake to eat later.


That is great to hear Makes me wonder what shooing a cake would be like tho :p
 
Had the Ruger before; still have the Smith M&P Compact .22 now. I like the Smith better; fit, handling, accuracy, reliability...hard to top it. The Ruger SR 22 is a fine gun, I just prefer the S&W M&P Compact .22 myself.
 
So you have the sr22. Good choice. I love mine. Nice little shooter that even fits my big hand.
