Lucky Shot

Doing an apple seed I did have one good round (5 points from marksmen on my first day).

But there were 4 shots all touching with a 22 with a sling prone. Did it again on the same target 3 out of 5.
Never did that well again the whole weekend.

True story, I was kicked out of the handgun range (25yards) for cleaning, those darn guys sent me to the 50 yard range!


Well, one of my shooting buddies was there. I was doing some 50y with my S&W 638 .38 snub. He was impressed with my shooting. I asked him if he'd like to try my .38 snuby at 50y. He said "sure, but only give me one bullet"

I told him to shoot about a foot low, actually, I told him to shoot for the crotch (xxxxx).
TBS, he had never shot my gun before. He took his time, maybe 30 seconds in DA.

LSS, he hit about 1-2" from zero center mass.

That one legged Marine walked away with pride.

I told him he's an A-hole as he had a big smile on his face!
