Low Velocity 357 SIG Rounds = 9mm Luger Velocity

I see no reason to make reduced velocity loads in a already mild recoiling cartridge. If you want a 9mm buy a drop in 9mm barrel from barsto. lets not take a step backward. I don't want the 357 sig to be another 10mm that started out good but then was casterated by the FBI.

I doubt that the 357 SIG full power loads will disappear because agencies are using them now and really like them. The agents are not whining at all. In fact, the agents are getting better shooting scores than ever with the 357 SIG full power loads.

No, the reduced 357 SIG loads are merely to help gamers like me who are forced to shoot in Minor Power since it's just a 9mm bullet. And it's for those that like to practice with milder loads for extended comfort, etc.

In other words, we're trying to entice 9mm folks to jump on the 357 SIG bandwagon and say, "See, the 357 SIG can feel and act like a 9mm. Yet, it can be uploaded to magnum powers within saami specs as well. What a cool round". :)

I'm a so called 9mm guy I guess. The reason I shoot it is not because of its power. It is because it is so cheap and efficient. A downloaded .357 sig has no draw for me. If I want that I'll shoot 9mm which is cheaper. I like the .357 sig and am looking at getting a Glock 32. But when I want to step up to a high power autopistol I'll look to the Glock 20 10mm.

The stupid power factor in ISPC is one reason why I prefer the IDPA. In real life the power factor ISPC uses has no bearing on stopping power.
