You'll have to find a semiauto design without a bolt return spring and tube in the buttstock, if you want to shorten it that much. Not a lot of those around, the old High Standard Supermatic is the only one I can recall offhand.
 
Lee Lapin beat me to it, but you'll have to find a semi auto with no action spring (or recoil or return spring or whatever you want to call it) in its stock. The vast majority of semi autos have their action spring in the stock. And finding one that doesn't have the spring in the stock is hard enough, but you'd also have to find an affordable one that has aftermarket options, so you can find a pistol grip. Good luck. I don't think I need to go to that forum. A 50% failure rate on brand new guns with a 45 to 60 day turnaround and they are talking about how good they are. For some, price is the ONLY thing.
