We just recently sold a blued 6" Colt Python with an E serial prefix that
dated to the early 70's for $799 OTD.
However, I'm a firm believer in Smith K,L or N framed .357 magnums. I
currently shoot a very smooth 6" S&W 686-5 (without the lock). Often
times people judge a firearm based on one outing, whereas they shot
a fairly decent group. Not to use the term loosely, but this S&W 686-5
with a 6" tube is a "TACK DRIVER".
Best Wishes,
