Looking to buy myself a present. Help???

Hello.

My birthday just passed, and I am looking to buy myself a present.
I own a Glock 19, Sig 226 X5 tactical, STI Rangemaster, and a Wilson CQB.

I am looking for something new, but I do not know what. I was interested in a Colt Gold Cup until I read several reviews telling me to stay away.

Can anyone recommend either a 9mm or a 45 caliber that I might did into and try to decide if it is for me? I would appreciate any help from those of you that own firearms that you would recommend, or a dream firearm that you are looking to purchase.

Thank you.

I recently purchased a HKVP9 Tactical in 9mm I am only 300 rounds into it, but I am enjoying shooting it a lot. The HK45 Tactical looks nice also. The "tactical" part gives you night sights and a threaded barrel if you wish to add a suppressor easily. Worth a look for sure.

With a Wilson and an STI, you don't really need a Gold Cup or other 1911.

I like CZs and you can get some nice ones from CZ Custom.
Certainly H&Ks are good guns and different from what you already have.

What's the budget?
Maybe a Pardini or get an American P210 on hold.

Look into maybe getting a CZ 75 variant or Browning Hi Power in 9mm. Both are excellent in hand fitment and soft shooting, plenty of parts on the market for upgrades.

A High Standard Victor would be right at home in your brood as would a S&W M41.

A high quality revolver would also add a new dimension. Lots of directions you could go with that.

Sorry, I see that you want (if you'll pardon me) pretty much the same type of gun you have. You probably know what you like in that regard more than we do. A nice 6" Walther P-08 would be high on my bucket list.

Do you conceal carry? If so (or even if you don't but are thinking of beginning), I would suggest looking at something more easily concealable than your current options. Maybe something like a Sig 938, Kimber Micro, or SA EMP...or even a Shield or Ruger LC9s.

For something reliable, well-made, accurate and a little different, look around for a Smith & Wesson Model 945. Sort of a combination between a 1911 and "Third Generation" Smith, it's one of my favorite pistols.

Without knowing the budget, I'll second both ideas of getting a Sig p938 if concealed carry is a desired goal, or of getting a CZ or clone thereof if just for the range.

My brother has the Sig and loves it. I haven't shot it, but it feels and operates exactly like a sized-down 1911 should.

I have been fondling and thinking about a either a CZ75 or an MR Baby Eagle/IWI Jericho for years, but just haven't found any around at a good price when I actually had money to spend.

Get a Makarov:

Actually reading your entire post, and sticking with one of ghe two spacific chamberings you mentioned I would say a CZ75 of some type. Maybe an SP 01. I would say maybe the a
Tristar clone P120, but you obviously don't mind spending top dollar, so get the CZ.
My other suggestion that I haven't seen mentioned is a Beretta 92. Good shooter, and very classic design.
You already have a couple guns based on the United States longest lasting military pistol. You should consider an example of what replaced it.

All your guns are pretty nice and expensive. You could always go the other way and buy something cheap.

My next will be a DB9. The curiousity is killing me.

You already have some nice guns, including the X5. How about an example of the the X5's German, or Swiss, stablemate, the 210?

WHAT? The Gold Cup not the finest possible example of the Gunmaker's art??? My stainless Gold Cup only had to go back to Colt twice, 5 1/2 months total (need a Barf emoji). Of course my more expensive Special Combat Govt. has only been back once;)
