Looking for a new bolt gun

wicat, I have 2 M77's one is a 243 the other is a 7-08 wood stocks, the 243 is a tack driver while the 7-08 shoots 1" groups it is very finicky on the ammo it likes.
 
Ride red I'm in Plattsburgh ny. I have been doing a lot of looking around and at this point I'm leaning towards the ruger predator in 243 or 308. Mind you I'm still looking and not yet ready to buy till at least the new new year.
 
For the ruger? No I am still in the process of looking over reviews and prices and seeing if that is what I want. I do like the fact that it appears that the ruger would make a good hunting rifle and a rifle that could go to the range and do some distance shooting. I like the idea of having the ability to upgrade though.
