Long Range Scope

Charlie, he went with this:

Well gentlemen the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56mm Riflescope w/ Zerostop - .1 Mil-Radian - Mil-R Reticle, Black C446 is on it's way to my house. Thank you all for the advice. I hope when I get it I don't regret not getting the MOA instead of MRAD. Only time will tell. Scope is $2,328 and the Nightforce mounting rings were another $209

I've had good luck with my Vortex not the best for sure but it does the job plus you save some money for ammo, drag bag, ballistic charts all the little things that add up.

Well guys here she is. I think it is one sexy sum beach. Can't wait to shoot it.

Dave, to day that I am jealous is an understatement. You will enjoy shooting that rifle for a very long time, and I don't think it will ever wear off on you. Great choice of gun and optics, and I'm glad you are happy with your decision on both!

When you do make it out to the range, make sure to give us a report!.... And possibly some more pictures :o

I won't recommend anything I wouldn't use myself. My rig is nothing like yours. It is just a custom built 300WM(that .338lapua is a beast). It was between the ATACR and a Premirer Reticle 5-25x56. I went with the NF just because it is a step up from the NXS. The new glass is great and I hope you enjoy your ATACR as much as I do mine. I will probably have to buy another for my BA50.
