loading for 308

got my brass the other day. was in decent condition. he focused on 5.56 and 9mm. Only got about 50pcs of 308 (along with about 2000 9mm and a 5gal bucket worth of 5.56) but it was in very good shape, filthy dirty, but but cleaned up nice, all LC headstamps as expected. Got my RCBS small base dies in the mail today. Took a good bit of force to resize, but it was smooth, no stuck casings. probably gonna get a set of regular dies to transition to after the first reload, but wanted to make sure they were in spec the first go around. Still shopping for a 308 rifle.
 
Good deal. Am doing the same for range picked up 223 in regards to sb sizing them first. Learned that the hard way by re sizing close to 1000 loaded rds. The only difficult 223 brass was some that i know came from a very short barreled 223 pistol. Am not using sb to resize 223 from my own rifles.
