Lightest Smallest Center Fire Pistol

You may have overlooked the SIG P238 in 380. I dont have any of the others mentioned to compare against. I do have a walther PPK/S in 380 and the SIG is much milder shooting. I would stay away from the blow backs.

If a P238 is in the running, I’d check out the P938. It is slightly larger, but caliber does make the extra bulk worth it. Not saying one is better, but to definitely look at both.

The laser option is nice, but I’m more of a fan for the TLR-6. Rather have the light, as well.

The SIG P238 and the even larger/heavier P938 are not even in the same ballpark as the Keltec P32.
Even the Seecamp and it's heavier clone, the NAA Guardian are heavier guns-and they are blowback actions. Recoil is more severe than the locked breech P32.
The P32 is the only answer to the original post.

I guess this post "Kahr CW380, Keltec P3AT, Beretta Pico, Ruger LCP" led to subsequent discussion. I had watched a youtube shoot out between the CW308 and P238. Hence my post. I know the SIG is not the smallest and it is not polymer frame.

I found this table with a comparison of all so-called mouse guns. None are clearly smaller than the P32. The P32 is lightest. The NAA Guardian is smaller but heavier. None of the antique or C&R vintage 25 acp from old days are included. The 380s are bigger.

The OP can set his own limits and consider those which qualify for consideration.

There's nothing wrong with the Remington RM380. Aluminum frame, stainless slide, and stainless barrel should hold up to adverse conditions. The RM 380 is a hair lighter than it's Rohrbaugh counterpart, way cheaper, and less "high maintenance". I didn't suggest the rm380 because empty, it is heavier than the p32 loaded. The rm380 is probably bigger than you want as well.

The Decision Has Been Made

I do appreciate all the help. I have made up my mind to get the P32, I feel that for the weight it can not be beat.

The only thing now I have noticed is you can only get it in a blued slide and no longer the Nickle Boron.... When will fate quit conspiring against me? :p

You can either send the complete gun, or strip the frame and send the metal parts (saves not having to Next Day it via FedEx/UPS).

Additional costs, but having a SUB-2000 that was done in nickel-boron, CCR does FAR better work.

My LCP, for comparison...

I had my LCP hard chromed by Metalife just a few months ago. $95 total and it looks amazing. I personally believe hard chrome is the best for looks and maintenance. The difference between the more expensive treatments aren't worth it.

Kel Tec's black finish is probably less effective than a Sharpie marker. Total junk. I did love my hard chromed grey grip P3AT, but I had to sell once holding the copying LCP. It's just better in every measure.

If you aren't totally sold on the P32, the LCP with Magguts carries the same 7 round count in the factory mag. No rimlock worries like the 32acp.

I got mine used for around $120. It shoots just fine. If I want a different color, I'll just buy another one so I have a matched set. :)

I'd sure rather carry a .380 over a 32 auto. Like Paul Harrell says, "The .32 auto is indeed more powerful than a .25 auto but sometimes nothing times nothing still equals nothing".
