Lieberman: Out! - McKinney: Out!

TheBluesMan , I fear you are correct about McKinney turning up again, they voted her out once before I believe, but she returned to again raise her ugly head, maybe we will get lucky and her constituants will have learned a lessen, that just because she is black doesn't mean she is a good representative of her race, or of her people of the State.

Kelly J:

I agree with you regarding McKinney. Yes, she was voted out once before, in '02 she lost the primary to Denise Majette. Majette won the election, but opted to run for Senate in '04 (and lost) instead of for re-election to the Legislature seat, giving McKinney a practically unopposed shot at getting her seat back in '04. Hopefully, Johnson won't make the same or similar move in '08, giving McKinney yet another shot at a comeback.

McKinney is an embarrassment! Not that the Fulton part of Atlanta is any better but at least that's not my represenative! People in Dekalb county seem to have a problem with electing good people, but they sure love to shoot their politicians!

McKinney? Good riddance.

But if you think Lieberman is out, you're not paying attention. He's got a double-digit lead in the pols over the Democratic candidate.

The voters in the primaries are not representative of the voters in the general election -- they are almost universally more extreme. Joe's got a good chance in the general election.

If McKinney is an ineffectual, looney, totally useless Dem., it looks like conservatives would WANT her re-elected to Congress. DC needs an enema. Flush out ALL the politicians and fish out the ones (if any) worth keeping.:barf: Vote third party.
