Licensing question

Pete, I'll share. Oregon and Nevada, not Bad. California: Gun Owner Hell, IMHO and getting worse at every opportunity. Arizona: no registration, no permissions, no licensing, etc, etc. Carry a pistol, or elephant gun, in your pocket if you want to. We do have an easily obtainable concealed carry permit for those who want them. Not necessary, but has some advantages, reciprocity with other states, etc. We are in the Mountain Standard time zone though, GMT -7...

I would never live in California and would have to think really hard about it before I'd even visit there. I'm pretty sure that it will be the first state to collapse in the upcoming economic meltdown. Their gun laws are draconian, the taxes are shocking, the authoritarian attitude of their local governments is sickening, and the moral and cultural abyss that they revel in is biblical, as in Sodom an Gomorrah.

If they can't pass a law against guns they'll do it by executive order or a trick of enforcement.

No such thing as licensing a firearm in AZ. That is a communist concept found in other states:). Unless you are sneaking across the boarder all you need is an AZ DL and residency to buy a FA in most cases.
