Liberalcrats want more gas taxes, higher gas prices

Clinton choked us with he largest federal tax increase in history, he's the one who got us into this huge social spending problem. Of coarse, the left never wants to talk about 40 years of liberals inventing thousands of worthless but expensive social programs.

Bush is just as bad, he gave these bozos even more money for social spending.

Ann Coulter speaks the truth, liberals hate the truth.

Nancy Palosie, who is completely oblivious to reality, just announced she wants to raise taxes again on the oil co.

Nancy and her commie government make more money on one gallon of gas than Exxon does.

Clinton left office with a surplus when the budget deficit was projected to be 455 billion in earlier years. This meant that he had to also curb federal spending which meant that spending went down, so explain to me why this huge social spending resulted in a surplus. I beleive that there were 12 years of Republicans in the white House before Clinton took over and the Republicans have been in control of the House since 1994. One of those Republicans before Clinton said "Read my lips, no more new taxes". Under Clinton the effective tax rates only cause a marginal increase due to tax laws and loopholes. I beleive that if you look at Tax revenues as a percent of GDP there wasnt ehough of an increase to cause a surplus without some spending cuts.

Sorry Eghad, my bad.:o I was actualy refering to Carter suspending reprocessing and recycling of plutonium. This shortsighted action on his part has indirectly lead to the whole Yucca mountain situation. Instead of recycling the plutonium into useable reactor fuel and "burn" it into short lived isotopes while at the same time producing energy, we are now spending large amounts of time, money, and energy to burry this usefull fuel into the ground. What they are doing is basicly throwing money at a non existant problem. Recycle the plutonium and we won't have the waste issue we have now. Build breeder reactors to create more fuel and we will have plenty of cheap electricity to use to make hydrogen or whatever other method we will use to store energy.

I would go with building nuclear power genarators, however that is serious stuff if mishandled. The use of it must be balanced with safety.

The Minnesota Taxocrats are currently pushing a 6cent per gallon incease:mad:

Of coarse, we have another Kennedy to subsidize thru treatment

Tax on gas?

Next youll be telling me 70 cents on the dollar is a tax.....lol.... A switch to Ethanol is our best choice. It may be costly at first, but we will prevail. If the market demands it, they will make it happen. The costs of production will eventually go down. Its a small price to pay to get off of oil, and keep that $ in the U.S.A. jmo

clinton choked lots of folks....... mostly heavy set dark haired chics....... sorry i couldn't resist....... i did see a show on tonite where an indian born chemist talked about how well brazil was doing with ethanol production...... they are completely free of the arabs oil...... we should have been making moonshine for our cars thirty years ago........
