I think it's pretty well established fact that a credible WMD threat did not exist in Iraq. Sure, Hussein gassed the Kurds ... in the late 1980's. Bad, evil, etc., but not in itself a valid justification for the current conflict.

I think we get it now. A Liberal Democrat is 1 who falls into the categories listed above. An Independent Liberal would fall under the same categories with 1 caveat----they own a gun. That 1 exception seems to make them Independent.

There are also those disenfranchised with the two party system, feeling that neither the dems or repubs truely speak for the "people" anymore, and represent the vast middle majority. There are those that believe the two are actually a lot more intertwined than you'd think, all in bed with the big money makers, while the lot of us just sort of breed and go about our business.
