Liberal rag paper gives TFL a nod

sumabich, your quotes were fine. Good job.

And, I've noticed this before:

quote:
To obtain a license, which includes a photo ID, applicants would have to pass a background check, including a check for violent misdemeanor convictions, domestic violence and mental illness.[/quote]
Note the further expansion of prohibited possessors. Misdemeanors are on the anti-self defense list, and I've even seen some gun bigots argue that speeding tickets should result in your loss of the RKBA. These bigots never quit.

I'm always happy to calmly, rationally and respectfully discuss the RKBA with anyone. However, if we get another pompous a$$ like HeigleS (or whatever his name was) who starts off by threatening me / us with NATO forces and notifying our ISP's, well then they deserve the roasting they'll get ... IMHO. Some reasonable, mutual respect is apropos I believe.

I agree with PKN, I'm worried about the trolls and what-not coming in and causing trouble for our raindeer games. The one good thing is that maybe some of them will read and learn about what they are afraid of. Give them a taste of the truth and maybe they will open their eyes and see the lies for what they are.

:D Major Coinneach sir, what wall needs the help, I don't need to see the whites of their eyes, I can smell them coming. It's not a very good smell at that. :D :D

Found the story, so no need to supply the link for my sake.

Sumabich, it's a damn shame that the article didn't make use of all of the good info posted over on Legal/Policial on your topic.
At best, we can hope that Ms. Muscoso will have been given something to think about.

BTW, did you notice Sugarman's flip-flop? He's talking about making guns safer. Just a few weeks ago he was against smart gun technology because it would create a new market for guns. But what can you expect from the man who almost single-handedly created the assault weapon "crisis?"
