Wait wait...it's going to deep to point out that the creator of a show is antigun just because one of the stars is pro gun (are you sure she is?)? So this idea of avoiding liberal media is adjustable to each individual's entertainment preferences?
I still think it's a ridiculous concept. Hell, if this forum is running a MySQL database or Apache webserver then it's running on software made by liberal companies. I don't know Jamie Limm's political views but what if he (the guy that wrote the very software that this forum runs, vBulletin) is vehemently antigun? Does that change anything? (note: this is in no way an attack on Rich or the forum, it's simply a matter of fact and shows how futile the idea is)
The idea that the first post (and other threads and posts such have this have done in the past) are impossible to meet unless one stays away from all sources of entertainment.
1) do not watch or listen to liberal leaning bias media outlets
That kicks out anything owned by Disney, Time Warner, Vivendi, Viacom...the only one anyone could argue
might be solely progun is News Corp but then again even Fox News airs antigun stories and 20th Century Fox hires just as many antigun actors as anyone else.
2) cancel all subscriptions to liberal biased newspapers and magazines (such as the New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, etc...)
And you're left with what? Can someone name some progun newspapers that are not owned by liberal antigun media companies?
3) do not purchase any DVD's with liberal Democratic "Stars"
Then you're stuck not purchasing
any DVDs or watching any movies at all. I'm sure y'all know the Screen Actor's Guild's position on gun control...so find a good movie
without SAG members.
4) do not watch liberal TV shows
Sell your TV because Liberty Media Corporation - the company that brings you all of the Discovery Channels, History CHannel, TLC etc etc - is listed on the antigun companies list.
5) do not rent movies by liberal left winger actors/actresses
Once again you're left with movies featuring no SAG actors. Good luck finding many decent ones...they're out there but few and far between.
6) do not buy any music CD's by rappers, hip hoppers, or other leftist types
Funny you how you mention rap but not country.
Anyone know if all those rednecks crying about losing their dogs and trucks are for or against gun control? Either way they're funded by liberal recording companies because none of the RIAA companies are progun.
7) do your research before buying goods and services, boycott anyone who is anti gun and anti 2nd Amendment
In other words, go live in the woods. Are you using a computer with Windows? You gave money to an antigun company. Chances are your computer was built with components made in a communist nation.
One of the companies listed on those antigun lists is Lucent Technologies...they own a large chunk of the very backbone wires that the Internet depends on. If you're reading this post of mine from anywhere west of the Rockies you are giving money to an internet service provider that leases lines from Lucent.
What about cars? Is Toyota progun? They're a Japanese company after all, and we all know Japan's position on gun control. Ford, GM? They sink money in antigun nations by building their cars with cheaper labor. Ever own a third or fourth generation Camaro or Firebird? Your money went right into the hands of Canadians and the Canadian Auto Worker's Union. Wanna guess what their position on guns are?
Yeah, do your research and learn that it's virtually impossible to live in America and interact with society without giving money to some group that supports gun control or even other issues that conservatives vehemently despise.
