Letter to anti-gun bank

Does anyone know of a study done about bank robberies? Of all of the robberies, or crimes committed against a bank, or at a bank; How many of those people would/could be FBI certified to lawfully carry?

Well, I do know one thing, if there was a robery at such a bank that has a no firearms policy, and one of my family members was shot, I would sue the dickens off of said bank for promoting an atmosphere counductive to criminal activity by eliminating the risk of being shot to the criminal. (or some such legal wording)

You just can't win, so if I was incharge, I'd rather run the risk of the criminal being killed than a by-stander.

Greed over RESPONSIBILITY, MORALITY, and ETHICS. That is the way it is NOW Gary, so let us all work together to reverse this backward reasoning that seems to pervade our society.
I do feel the tide is slowly changing.

If your grandma made you leave your gun in your car while you were in her house, would you stop visiting your grandma? Probably not.

"WRONG"! I carry a concealed weapon to protect myself and my immediate family. Anybody within that group of people may express an opinion about
my carrying concealed, but it probably won't change my mind.

Anybody OUTSIDE that group of people can have all the opinions they want,
but it won't change my attitude about CCW. And if Granny doesn't like it,
I guess Granny won't be seeing me much.

To me it all boils down to one word. Respect. I have respect for the laws of
the land, and abide by them. The State has respect for my right as an
individual to protect myself, my family, and in certain instances, my property,
and recognizes my right as a law-abiding citizen to carry a concealed weapon.

If anyone in my extended family objects to my CCW choices, it is
their problem, not mine. And if they choose to make it an issue, I
will just choose to not be around them. And that goes for all of them.
Parents, children, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters, whoever.

Walter

Finally, I would ask you to explain what, if any, assurances you can give me that XXXXXX will keep me safe while banking at XXXXXX.

Get real. There are no assurances.

That's funny, in light of the fact that The Palm Beach Post reports (in the issue that's coming out for Friday) that in two separate cases, lawsuits were filed on Thursday holding businesses liable for murders that took place on their premises:

No, the lawsuits as you cited were not that the businesses were liable for murder. You have twisted the words to the article. The suits were for contributing to the deaths of individals. Murder is a felony, not a civil charge.
