Well its getting to that time of year folks. Light clothing and light guns. I know I'm a little early, but I figure starting this thread now might give some that are still working on their summer EDC set-up some good ideas.

So post a pic of your summer time, hot weather EDC. I'll start:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Sooo comfortable. Best $$ I ever spent on an IWB. (And I literally have a rubbermaid tote FULL of holsters of every type). I wish I found the Crossbreed years ago. Gonna order two more for my Glock 27, and my M&P 340.
 
Monty-- Looks like you only have a dollar left after buying the Benchmade! Just teasing. I have two and they are worth every penny. Thats a nice summer setup you have there.

+1 on Crossbreed! I love mine. Thankfully, they do conceal so well and comfortably because my G19 is the smallest gun I have. It still conceals well in light clothing.

Kimber Ultra Carry II. Grips are "Aliens" by VZGrips, and a set of Meprolight nightsights. IWB holster is from a local custom outfitter. And for the fun part, I carry Gold-Dots :D

Left to righish: 4Sevens Quark AA2 and holster, Keltec P3AT w/S&B FMJ for penetration + pocket holster, Leatherman Surge and holster + sharpening rod that fits in the accessory slot on the holster, my keys with Arc AAA-P flashlight, Inka pen (titanium, waterproof, assembles to full size), and a little Gerber folder that I polished up and refinished the wood on.

Edit: is that an E1-B Backup you've got to go with the Benchmade? Very nice! I used to use Surefires but since Eneloops came out I'm saving oodles of cash compared to those CR123A cells. Still, that's a bulletproof set of gear you've got there!

Sure is. Love my E1B. It goes everywhere with me. I've experimented with other brands but always came back to Surefire. And their customer service is unbeatable.

I also carry an Inka..thing is handy as hell, and I also carry a Leatherman Surge on my duty belt, and have a second one in my truck. I guess great minds think alike:D
 
Kahr CW9 in a cheap leather Tagua IWB with gerber and spare mag... I'm rather practical and working on the confines of a budget. The holster works quite well for a cheap one, though.

No, we've got the PBA. FOP has a larger membership because dues are cheaper. I prefer the PBA.


And 308gunner, the grips on that Kimber are awesome. I'm in lust with that rig.
 
5whiskey, thank you kindly. I just upgraded the grips (had a set of Hogues with finger grooves on there before), and was worth every penny for the Aliens :D

Rather like your CW9 there, I've heard nothing but good things about them. And the holster looks like it does the job, cheap or not. I always figure that if it's a IWB, I'm not too concerned with looks since no one is going to see it 99% of the time anyway; as long as it holds the gun, it's doing well :)

I posted my all weather carry system on this thread the other day... but the thread really gave me the fever! I could definitely use a smaller gun for summer carry. I needed a good excuse to go the gun store! I had it narrowed down to the Taurus TCP, Ruger LCP, and the Kel-Tec P-3AT. I held and played with all 3... and I decided on the TCP because I liked the sights better and I like the fact that it's slide locks back automatically on empty. Any thoughts??

(I have a CrossBreed MiniTuck on the way!)

DAdams, I don't own a Seecamp, but I might someday, so I'm wondering about that pinky extension you're using on your Seecamp. Is that a Seecamp accessory, aftermarket, or custom?

Nice looking set-up you have there.

My typical method of carry is IWB / 340 M&P, but my shorts n' tee shirt pocket gun is an LCP / Desantis. I don't have a photo of it with the holster, but I think it's pretty easy to imagine what it looks like. :)
