Lets see your Remington 700...

Here's my little deer gun.

It's the CDL stainless fluted limited edition in .260 Rem.

I have the Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16X40 on it and lightened the trigger a bit but otherwise stock. Pretty soft shooter.

i recommend free floating the barrel... its very easy to do and i bet if you try to run a dollar between the stock and the barrel it will get stuck about 2 inches from the from of the stock. Just use a dowle and some sand paper and then seal it back up with some poly.

Mine are both basic, no frills hunting rigs.

Bottom is 700ADL .243 Win, Middle is 700ADL .30-06 Springfield, Top is a Ruger 77MkII in .308 Win that just had to sneak into the pic :D.

All are wearing Nikon 3-9x40 Prostaff's with BDC.

Thanks Eddy.

I did that to my CZ453. I don't know if it helped much, though.

You've got my curiosity up so I'm going to have to check it out, now.

Can I borrow a dollar? ;)

Very nice caliber that you have there. I would one for my father-in-law in a 700 BDL beautiful gun and very rare. it was a steal... he put that one away now

OK I'll play.

Top is 30-338 Win. In process of devoloping loads now.

Middle is Sendero in 7mm STW.

Bottom is Alaskan Ti in .280. Love the light weight and the fluted bolt is a different touch.

My three 700s. One with the groundhog is my .243, cryoed, glass bedded, and converted from ADL to BDL configuration. Have killed thousands (literally) of groundhogs, a couple deer and a couple turkeys with this rifle. One with the coyote is my .270, started life as a 700 laminated stainless Mountain rifle. Took the laminated stock off and put it on my .35 Whelen, which is the rifle pictured with the muskox. My .35 Whelen was a factory BDL, I swapped the BDL stock for the laminated mountain rifle stock off the .270. I have killed 8 different species of big game with the Whelen, it is my favorite hunting rifle.
