I wasn't trying to be rude (which I am sure some readers assumed). ...Just trying to point out that the .40 S&W is not cheap to shoot. If people want to shoot a lot, it's a poor cartridge to choose (unless they reload).

Yep, old thread. Regardless, Cabelas is selling PMC Bronze .40 on sale for $14.99 as of right now. Just under .30 cents a round.

I find it cheaper locally than any site on the web. Federal Champion at Walmart; about $14/box of 50. Also I picked up the 250 round bonus buy of UMC at Walmart last week for $69

You can get Federal at Wally World for 13 something, WWB for 30 even for 100, or federal 165 grain hollowpoints for 23.....not that expensive, I dont think...its hard to beat the 13 dollar federal stuff for target shooting, Ive never had a single failure in about 5-6k rounds....
