The drum measure is certainly easier than fumbling with the Auto Disk, trying to find the aperture number that yields the closest to your desired powder weight. It also allows yielding EXACTLY the number you wanted rather than settling for close enough.
I too get along fine with the older stuff, even preferring the older design, box style hopper, but I am enjoying my drum measure and just used it this morning. I will say though that the reset feature is not working, yet the measure works otherwise. That suits me, because the reset is an extra motion, for which I don't feel a need and had not yet disabled per the instructions.
