Lautenberg Amendment amended...aka...stupidity strikes again...

Oh my god! Is this serious!?!? Lautenberg act? What? I can't believe what I'm seeing!!!!!

If some one just says something threatening like "I'll get you." That's it, they are no longer able to legally own guns!? What kind of crap is this? Isn't this going to get repealed? Why isn't there an outcry over it?

It's crap like this that makes me say forget starting with the 22lr, go for the ak and fal.

I swear this is crazy, unbelievable. I don't know what to else to say without getting banned.:mad: :mad: :mad:

Seriously, how does one get crap like this repealed? Petitions? Voting? What?
 
Has to be a conviction in regards to a domestic violence EM. You can tresspass to your hearts content, just not on your ex wifes property or when there is a protection/no contact order in place......

THAT...is the problem. Me and my bro live in the same house. Obviously, we get mad at each other and stuff and we say stuff that we don't mean, like "Man, I'll kill you, you punk!". If I say something like that and he calls the cops, am I done for!?!?! This is insane!:mad:

I was reading some stuff on the Lautenberg act and there was a story about how a woman lightly pushed her husband out from a door way and now she can't own guns anymore!!!!!!

I have freakin' seen it all.:mad:

I'm NEVER going to get married. Not after learning about the Lautenberg act. Hell no.

What about if a woman just lives with you but you are not married to her. You get into a dispute with her and stuff goes down, does the Lautenberg act still apply?

Why doesn't the NRA start an anti Lautenberg movement and prompt its members to do whatever possible to rid Congress of this jerk Lautenberg and anyone else who voted for his over reaching law?
 
Wait, it gets better. What about when neither of the couple will press charges against the other (for yelling) but since an officer witnesses it, the state prosecutes the offending member of the couple anyway?

So a cop has to lose his job...flat out, no appeal, no mitigating factors, etc???

Lautenberg is a raving marxist lunatic,the Congress of the United States and it's court systems are nothing more than the puppet lap dogs of the Nazis police state.Their only concern is their Swiss bank accounts and nothing more.Most of our local L.E.A. command staff right up to the chief has been corrupted and made part of the above problem.The F.B.I. and the A.T.F. are the law of the land and they decide what is and what is not the law of the land.The F.B.I. and the A.T.F. enforce everything from city zoning laws to whatever else interests them at their pleasure and there's nothing you can do about it.The F.B.I. and the A.T.F. could decide at their convenience that a parking violation is now grounds for the removal of your gun rights and whatever else rights they decide to remove.The courts and government have and will continue to back them.Why?, because they are part of it.Complain about it and the A.T.F. will kick down your door and slaughter you and your family and there's nothing you can do about it.Think not?,need i remind you of Ruby Ridge and Waco?,to name but a few incidents.It would appear that front line local L.E.O.'s are finding out that the FEDS are not their friends after all. Unfortunately to late.
 
Being a week end prospector I have seen examples of this . When the Endangered Species Act first came into existance it was welcomed by some and accepted by all . It seemed a harmless law that "only" wanted to save some obscure animals and plants from extermination . No big deal . NOT!!!! This "plan" has been used to close off TONS of land to virtually every use you can think of because it "might" harm something . They don't need to prove it . Only "suggest" it . Be careful of small laws . They GROW UP so fast .
 
You know there is a group some where that will look in to things like this and tell you if it really is a NAZI thing.

Domestics EM in most states means anyone you have lived with or have blood or married relationship. Think the roommate you had in college 30 years ago, you get together for a beer, get drunk and punch him Walla! a DV believe it or not. It is insane, but the courts have upheld this PC train for nearly 20 years now supported only by the politics not common sense or "law".

Um you might want to consider switching to decaf there Oddjob....
