As reported by AP...I goofed..add two percent from the Nader voters:

"For Gore, there was small consolation in knowing that if he does not prevail over Bush in the courts, 56 percent of those surveyed believe he should run for the White House again in 2004."


Oh please, please, please...let Gore run in 2004!!!!!!!

These words must be added to GWB's prayers at night. Count him in on the 56%.
 
I predict the democrats will nominate Hillary. I also predict she will win. The Clintons clearly have mind-control ability.
 
I hate to say it Bullet, but Hillary as Veep is very possible, but as the Democratic top candidate, I don't think so. She will need a number of years to make her false move to the center.
 
Yall do realize that Bill ban run with hillary?He can be president again but he just can't be elected to a third term.And I think it is very likly that she will pick him as her vp.

Gore would never run with Hillary as a VP. He would have very few days left to live after he took the oath of office on Jan 20.

My understanding is that the qualifications for VP are the same as the qualifications for President. Thus, if Bill is unable to run for President again, he is also unable to run for VP.

Pawcatch, I disagree that Hitlery will pick Billary. Those two Marxist Socialists, absoultely hate each other's guts.

All this happy-happy fuzzy feeling, this "arm full of roses and a basket of kittens" is nothing more than a sham between the two.

Hitlery will proably run, but she won't have Billary as a running mate.

The only reason that a NewsWeek survey would show any poll favoring anyone from our current administration being reelected is because the only people that they get to participate in those surveys are the welfare people that are at home. You won't see them contacting local businesses and asking their employee's opinions or contacting the local gun shop to see how they feel.

The party of the "Whiners" are Grooming Hillary as we speak for President. I'd bet the farm on it (if we still owned it). For the next 4 years we will be subjected to sound bites and pictures of all the things Jackie/Elinor(Hillary) does for the poor, elderly, children and especially women and one minority "groop"! Since the "Whiner Party" can only gain support from large cities, look for a Daly, Cumo, or Feinstine to be a running mate or the male counterpart that is strongly connected. Al will fade into obscurity. This is planned, ask yourself why she had to run in the first place. POWER, the media sucks it up with a straw and so does the big cities. We should spend the next 4 years planting the seed of truth and next time have a stronger voter turn-out in the rest of the country. I'm printing my slogan already. "BURY HILLARY IN 2004"!!!!!

I don't doubt that they've said that, but, fortunately for us, they aren't the final arbiter.
The last line of Amendment XII reads:
But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
I guess it depends on what the meaning of "constitutionally ineligible" is.

I think fears of a Gore run in 2004 are unfounded.
When he finally concedes that's the end of his political
life (which explains why he is so desperate to get the
presidency). If the Democrats win the Congress in 2002
look for Dick (and I do mean dick) Gephardt to be the
Democrats candidate in 2004. It's almost a certainty.
As for Hillary, forget it. She'll make a fool of herself
in the Senate and eventually degrade into the kind of
frozen liberal clown Ted Kennedy is.
 
Gore is Finished

Gore has destroyed any future national run for any office. He is on the verge of hurting the Democratic party. They are about to come down on him HARD.
 
I agree, it's over for Bore. He's out of the political circus for 4 years, his act will be tarnished.

I would like to see him run, the Sore Looserman will haunt him throughout.
 
I would think Liberman would be a top pick for 2004 by the Democrats. I doubt Al would get the nomination. He just caused too much of a stirr in the current mess. His political career is over.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mrs. Klinton runs for nomination or as VP in 2004 though. In her acceptance speech after winning her Senate race, she was specifically asked if she would run for Pres / VP in 2004 and she said "no"- so you can assume she will for the simple fact that none of them can stick to their words for 4 months, let alone 4 years.

I really wouldn't mind having a female president- just absolutely not THAT female.

Let's just hope Dubya can really "reach out to Dems" like he says, so he makes a positive impact on the country in the next 4 years so he won't have any trouble getting the re-elect in 2004. Hopefully the whole Klinton Klan, along with Gore and his goons will all be in federal prison for some sort of hankey-pankey by 2008 and we won't have to worry about them. The fact that the Klintons haven't managed to say out of a court room for more than 12 months in since 1974 give me hope that eventually they will pull something they won't be able to weasle out of.
