Prowler death: man on kill count
A charge against a Bunbury real estate agent over the stabbing death of a prowler in his backyard has been upgraded to murder.

Mr Lenane was remanded in custody to reappear in the Supreme Court in Perth tomorrow for a bail hearing.
More than 50 family, collegaues and friends filled the small courtroom during Mr Lenane's appearance.
Some family members wept as the 57-year-old was led away by police. He was not required to pleasd to the charge.
Magistrate Robert Lawrence questioned why Mr Lenane was not arrested on Friday on the more serious charge once results of an autopsy showed the 66-year-old prowler died of a penetrating knife wound to the chest.

Police allege Mr Lenane and a neighbour confronted the intruder in Mr Lenane's backyard last Tuesday night. The man, armed with a short piece of PVC pipe, allegedly attacked Mr Lenane, who had brought a knife with him from the house.
Police say the three men were involved in a struggle and the intruder was stabbed in the chest. The man died in Mr Lenane's yard despite police attempts to revive him.

If someone breaks into your home, you are supposed to flee it (your whole family) and let them rummage through it while you wait outside for the Police? What hogwash! There sure isn't much to keep BG's from breaking in, is there? The law protects their safety when they do!
I can just envision it now: you are all sleeping when you hear someone trying to break in the front window. You quickly wake your wife, and your kids, make sure they all dress warmly because you may be sitting out side for an hour or so, then all rush out the back door to call the Police. That makes a lot of sense. Are you supposed to unlock the front door before you leave out the back so that the BG doesn't cut himself trying to break into the window? Heck, why not just have the BG's call ahead and make reservations. You could agree to leave the door open and have your family gone before they get there.
And, what if the BGs' plan is to rape and kill you and your kids rather than just rummage through your stuff innocently? When they start to rattle the front door, you run out the back, where the other BG's are waiting for you. Now you just let them in, you are all trapped and you get to be raped and turtured to death for the evening. Sounds like a great law!

The defendant, charged by the police with murder, was this afternoon found guilty of manslaughter in the Bunbury Supreme Court.
He has been remanded by police until sentencing.
The SHHTF with this one already -- I think people are fed up with being told it's "illegal" to protect yourself.

This is a shame Bruce. In my state of Pennsylvania a citizen has the right to use deadly force in his home when encountered by a hostile who threatens serious bodily harm. There is no "duty to retreat" in your home.
Now if the guy is in your backyard he has to threatin you with immediate bodily harm before you whack him.
Our Self defense laws are derived from your BRITISH common law which was brought over here by Mr. Penn and his Quakers.
It is a shame that England and Australia have abandoned their common law traditions which afforded some liberties to its citizen.
But we are all heading from "citizen" status to "subject" status because there are bigger agendas that exist in the world today. All of the British COmmonwealth countries and the United States OF AMERICA will all be marching in step with the World Wide Agenda to eliminate the private ownership of small arms.

Nie to know, that if someone attacks you with a weapon, and you ARE able to defend yourself that it is just better to let them kill you. If you defend yourself you are going to goto Jail for life!
