Last purchase was a Glock G34. OK so far. One thing is for sure, I really suck at bench rest shooting pistols. I was getting 2-3 inches off the rest about 1 in to the left at 25 yds (paces) [Two groups]. I also forgot to bring a screw driver to fit the adjustable sights. I then shot Weaver with the same group sizes. Now I know I can't shoot as good as a pistol's intrinsic accuracy ergo I suck at bench shooting.
I spot a feral one liter plastic bottle down range approximately 46 yds (paces). Using Kentuckey windage ('Let's see, about double the distance, I'll aim two inches to the right.') I aim and fire. Much to my astonishment, I sent the rabid container tumbling in the air on the first shot. After closing my mouth when I bug flew in, I continued to eradicate the vermin. hit miss hit miss miss hit hit miss miss miss hit miss hit miss miss miss. Hmm, ~41%. It's a keeper. But, it still doesn't feel as good as my SIGs, HP, CZ, & TZ.
Just put down $300 on a DSA SA-58 Blue Medium Contour.
