Largest Capacity 9mm pistol?

Really more self/home-defense; but the CZ-75 Tactical Sport isn't too far off the reservation. I really would be interested in that STI GP6-C, if I could find one.

Not sure if the TS would make a good self/hd gun. It has A 2# or less trigger, which personally find a little light for self defense.

Mine measured 1.8 out of the box.

if I had the need for another full size gun, I would have t probably pick the 9mm/.22TCM combo from Rock Island. Yes it's only a 17+1, but man that .22TCM looks like fun for a reloader. I say this because I already on a CZ and a CZ clone, and I wouldn't ever give that up as my bedside pistol, the clone anyways....it's pretty hard to justify buying a real CZ anymore after owning Canik/Tristar clones, except for resale value. I like the Tristar trigger better and the 200-300$ less price tag, just don't get a tristar with an alloy frame and a blue finish, bad combo.

Canik-55 TP-9 18+1 9mm 350$
Tri-Star S-120(steel-frame) 17+1 9mm 380$

those are my recommendations for an affordable home defense pistol. I have since made a very small 9mm AR with a 5" barrel and diamondback "nite-sites" that stays next to the bed(32+1), but still rely on the Tri-Star T-100 pistol to save my buns if ever in a quick jam.

Not at the very top, but close enough for honorable mention:

Beretta 92 with Mec-gar flush fit 18 rd, anti-friction mags. Vastly superior to the stockers.

I believe you can get 33 rd mags as well if that floats your boat.

Back in the 80s, you had the HK VP70 with 18+1, and the Steyr GB with 18+1. Glock wasn't far behind with their 17+1. So truly high capacity isn't new, and could be much higher than the 15+1 that became the standard for so long.

Today I'd have to second the already mentioned Springfield XDm with 19+1. Excellent pistol, very high capacity.

All nice guns, but holding the grips on those is like grabbin' a fence post, IMO.

The Ruger SR9 (17+1) has the slenderest double stack grip of them all, IMO.
