lake city once fired brass

Metal god, the cases arrived today and they look great. The extra 100 you sent that are already processed, what do you use to clean them ? They are spotless and look great. The trim length is perfect. I'll get a money order out to you on Monday.
Thank you for the excellent brass I appreciate it very much.

How do I prep my cases ?

Well I spend quite a bit of time on them from once fired and those specific ones have the added primer pockets uniformed . Meaning I used a tool that makes all the primer pockets the exact same depth . That's why they look so clean . The bottoms of them have a couple thousandths removed so you now see the newly cut brass . They also had the flash holes deburred .

Order of prep is as follows and is in no way needed to this degree but this is what I do for my once fired NATO brass .

1) Deprime using a universal decapping die ( Lee )

2) Wet tumble with SS pins

3) FL-size with Redding bushing die and competition shell holders

4)Quick dry tumble in corncob to remove lube
5) Remove primer crimp ( bit chucked into a drill)

6) Trim

7) Final dry tumble in clean-ish corncob media with polish

More then is needed but that's my process and gets me some pretty consistent NATO brass .

The extras I sent you also have the primer pockets uniformed and flash holes deburred . I don't do that with all my brass but you got lucky because that just happened to be what I did with all my LC-16 brass I have ( about 1k ) and I felt if I sent extra it should at least be the same headstamp as the others .

Primer pocket uniformer , Which I also chuck into a drill because it has an adjustable stop .

I almost sent you some WCC NATO brass of mixed years because there was so much room in the box and would not have cost any more . I didn't because I was not sure you wanted the mixed years .

Anyways hope the brass works out for you .
