Lady Smith

My wife has had a Ladysmith 38 snubbie for years. For a long time it was the only pistol in our house, and I was never ashamed- even though she can still out-shoot me with it and my 642. Personally I'm in favor of any marketing gimmick that saves me money.

My exwife carried a Lady Smith for years, a really sweet shooter. She worked in a hospital & could not take it in there, having to leave it in her truck at work. Someone broke in & stole it.

I have a model 60 that I've had for many years & I love that gun.

Don't be swayed by the name. I have a S&W 65LS which I have had for about 12 1/2 years. I love that gun. I'd have to be pretty much facing the choice of starving to death (maybe homelessness) or selling the gun before I'd sell it, and even then it would be a tough choice :D

Lady's gun

I saw a LadySmith this weekend at a gun show and didn't purchase it even though I have been looking for a good Model 60. Maybe it will still be around at the next show since there is one almost every weekend. I can't seem to decide between that or a Colt Detective Special. The Colts are priced too high for what I think it is really worth. $995 for the older unshrouded cylinder rod and $875 for the more modern version. I think the Model 36 that I have is easier to conceal. I should stick with that.

The LadySnith is a fine snubnosed .38! Does the name on the side change it's ballistic preformance?
I bet it shoots juat like my Chirf does!
They do cost a lot just because of a little name on the sude!
Why didn't they make a unmarked revolver?
Kinda blew it and lost a lot of male sales!
Nothing "Girly" about my Chiefa Special!
