Knife Recommendations

Without reading two pages of posts:
Being a fan of and owner of a couple of Kersaw knifes, and having lost one at one point in time, I got another identical one to replace it.:)

This is my first post on this site.
For work I carry at least 3 knives, sometimes I have more on me, but always these 3. One is a Kershaw Ken Onion design with a flipper, its the fasted opening knives that I have. One is a C.R.K.T. Crawford Kasper. This is one big knife, which is what I love about it. Not as fast to open, but can be done one handed and closed the same. The last one is a Gerber Paratrooper. This is the hardest of the 3 to open, but is still able to be done with one hand.
I dont know what kind of steel is in each, and I dont care. They each keep an edge that works for me.
As for looking for a knife to replace the one that you lost, I would say look at these three. I payed more then what you want to spend for the C.R.K.T., but I have found them on the net for less now. The others I got a Wal-Mart for less then $40 each.

Bah

Kershaw's and other websites show that the Avalanche is using S60V blade steel. So I drive 45 minutes clear across town today to Sportsman's Warehouse after calling them to make sure they had a combo edge one in stock. Was ready and willing to pay the higher $89.99 to bring it home. Got there and the 3 Avalanches they had in stock all used S30V, not S60V. Irritating. I want the S60V one!
