Kimber 8400 .338 Win. Mag.

The LGS has a Kimber 8400 in .338. They are asking $888.00. I think that is a little high. No scope, but rings. Barrel looks good and has a tight action.
Any thoughts?

I wanted a .300 ultra mag. Plan on doing some Elk, Moose, bear(both) hunting soon. I'll shoot my BAR 30.06 for fun. Strictly hunting. Also I'm a recoil junkie. Love it.
On price, I was thinking $700/750. It is used.

That's not out of line, especially if its in good shape...

What model is it? Classic, Select grade, Montana??

Assuming bases and rings, you could be looking at $100 easy... I see stripped used ones going for $900 easy around here.
