Kerry steps in it again!

Code:
Keep diggin', Bounty. I think you're almost down to the required 6 feet.

There are days I think Ole Bounty would bury himself alive just to prove he could handle a shovel

Heard an EM on the radio yesterday afternoon, who happened to be one of the troops who rolled up to the dump in question. Said there were obvious signs of truck tires and foot prints going in and out. The American forces took what was there to another location and blew it up, or are about to blow it up.

Kerry talks mighty big-you'd think the military could not move one foot in front of the other without his "expert" guidance. :barf:

Aren't these particular explosives prohibited by UN sanction? How long was the UN aware of their presence and what actions did the various fiefdoms within that group take to eliminate this violation?

Imagine, if you will, a press conference in October of 1944, where FDR is being grilled by his opponent and the newspapers about a cache of Nazi explosives found to be missing in the Belgian countryside. The media not only wants FDR, as the CIC, to account for the explosive's whereabouts, but wants him to APOLOGIZE for the oversight in not personally keeping a 24/7 watch on them. As Daffy Duck says, 'har, har, har...it is to laugh'.

Ignore mode doesn't work too well when everyone else aknowledges the BS...

Oh well ...no plan is foolproof!

Assuming for an instant that .06% of the KNOWN explosives in Iraq are a big deal in the first place.

And making that stretch that they (explosives) are LESS SAFE now that we are in charge

And taking the liberal stance that any reports that cast GWB in a bad light simply MUST BE TRUE... ;)

Does anyone...outside of BH believe that GWB ordered the troops to allow looting of munitions?

Then fess up....you are really indicting the troops.

The real story here is the obvious spin that the NYT put on the story.....and the plan by CBS to spring it on the public 36 hours before the election.

The MSM may be the biggest casualty of the whole story......

Since ALL of the investigation has occured AFTER the story was launched.

( JK jumping on the bandwagon is totally exepcted and not news)

Rich...6 feet...LMAO.....

BH....Sigh......I thought I was safe from this crap here at TFL!

Hmmm...400 Tons of explosives bypassed on the way to conquer Bagdhad. 400,000 tons of explosives captured and destroyed.

Anyone got a calculator?

Bounty,

No, what I said was that kerry was repeating information from the IAEA who said they had evidence that the explosives disappeared after the invasion.

ACTUALLY, what IAEA SAID was, they DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED to them. THEY speculated that they could have been taken AFTER we arrived.

HOWEVER the first page of the IAEA report ADMITS that while they 'secured' the front door, EVERY bunker had vents on each side 'that could have been used as a removal route WITHOUT disturbing the seals and locks that they placed on the front entrances'.

So, dude, better keep digging.

But no worries: keep calling Kerry a moron because he made statements based on the report of the IAEA (that the explosives were there after the invasion)

Another made up quote brought to you by bountyhunter. No such statement was made by the IAEA in any report.

Now stand by for the usual desperate posting by bountyh of a dozen or so links to unbiased sources like The Socialist Worker Daily, The Nation, etc., all discussing WMD's in Iraq without ever addressing the issue of this supposed quote contained in an IAEA report.

If the New York Times isn't even going to bother to forge "documents" to support their story, how then do they expect to compete with CBS?

BountyH, maybe you could get a consulting gig with the NYT. Maybe subcontract to Jayson Blair. There are still a couple of days left to come up with a zinger or three. Maybe the Oil For Food mafia could provide a little inspiration in terms of what straw to grasp at next.

Be a shame to let all that talent go to waste.

The latest in the AP is that CHEMICAL WEAPONS may be missing as well

They admit that Iraq had chemical weapons( sarin, etc)......and that they are gone....

But they claim that they don't count.....because they were not the "hidden" weapons our president was talking about when we went to war.

I don't recall President Bush saying that only "hidden weapons" posed a threat??

That's impossible...

Sadaam didn't HAVE any nuclear, chemical or biological weapons (you know, those imaginary WMD's that this criminal president used to dupe the nation into supporting our toppling of the soveriegn government of Iraq). Why, if it turned out that he DID possess these weapons then Bush's critics would be wrong and our war would be justified and...OMG...I am shocked, SHOCKED at this turn of events. Does this mean that the media and the Kerry folk have been LYING to us all along???

I just don't know how I'll go on in this disillusioned state! ;)
