So sorry.....
but today I got the laser zero'd. It doesn't help in the least for target shooting, but it is great for fast C-Mass grouping.
Next range trip......laser AND can!!!
 
Bill - I'm jealous. That is a great price. Let us know about its fun factor, accuracy, & reliability. I have my heart set on one but am refusing to pay above MSRP.
 
I've been following this thread with interest. I've watched a lot of the YouTube vids about the P17. One guy said that even after testing the improved version he preferred the Taurus TX-22. Yesterday, a guy next to me at the range had a new Ruger LCP II, in 22 LR. It burned through a bunch of CCI without a hic-up, even a bunch of rapid fire mag dumps. As soon as he switched to Winchester Super X the troubles started. Failing to fire, failure to extract. He gave me his "duds" and they popped off fine through my Henry rifle.
I'm looking forward to your range report on the P17.
 
Was able to shoot 100 or so rounds through the P 17 today. It's pretty darned accurate.
I had a couple of dud CCI rounds, but not the fault of the gun.
Trigger is light and crisp, and the gun is easy to load and use.
