That's one of the reasons I didn't like the trigger shoe. To keep it from falling off, you essentially had to make it permanent. But if you did that, you had to severely muck up the grip to take the frame out of it. Since I wasn't crazy about the whole thing and the purpose of the shoe is to make the 8.5# pull force more tolerable, I decided to just fix the trigger and eliminate the need for the trigger shoe. Now it's a 6.5# pull that travels just 0.55" and ends just before the grip. Who needs a shoe?
