kel tec belt clip

I bought my 1st gen P3AT right after they came out. Belt clips weren't yet available, so I made one. The one I built actually allows the gun to sit with the back perfectly even with my pants. It is the only way I carry that gun, I'm 100% comfortable with it, and it disappears even with my slim fit Wranglers and a tucked in tee that fits.

If the gun were any heavier, this wouldn't work. I use a holster with my PF9.

Belt Clips

Keep in mind when you buy or order belt clips, there are two, one for the left side, and one for the right side. You'd be suprised how many gunshop employees are unaware.

I use the belt clip on my p32 and love it. I only use it for when I'm wearing athletic knit shorts (pockets hang too low with the gun in them). I wear the gun against the skin and the clip outward. Sweating against the gun has done some damage to the p32 finish, but it was meant to be carried so I have no problems with getting a stronger finish applied on the slide in the near future. I should have bought the stainless slide model, knowing how much sweat it would encounter riding my waistline in phoenix, az summer.

Anyway, the clip works great, easy install, cheap, high quality, versatile.

I loved it on my P3AT! Here it is from "is that a pocket knife?" to "BANG! BANG! BANG!"

I have one on my P-32 but generally don't use it because the trigger is uncovered. When I do use the clip it is without one in the chamber which slightly defeats the purpose of carrying. I rather carry in a pocket holster.

Yep - Only way I would carry that way would be if it was condition 3. Being that I train exclusively from C&L (and carry that way), its not for me.

I dont really see the advantage other than convenience. IWB or pocket carry for me.
