docpadds, you're going to be looking for quite a while with those Terms of Usage:

I know what you are probably getting at, but I wouldn't upload a photo taken by me unless you change those terms to reflect the inherent copyright of the photographer and stop the "GUNENVY" watermarking.

Those T&Cs are most definitely the generic ones that came with the site and are being replaced by the corrected ones, most likely over the next couple of days. The replacement basically says (similar to any other photo sharing site) "you own it but are granting us use of it etc.."

As far as the watermark is concerned we did that to stop people taking pics from the site and claiming as their own.

One of the items on the development list is to give the user the option of doing this, so its your decision, and another is to try and change it so that the system puts in your username in the watermark, stamping it as your own. (I suspect most users will just say no though and not watermark their pictures).

Unfortunately the watermark feature didn't make it to release (we wrote a lot of the engine in-house).

We certainly are not out to try and claim ownership of other peoples pictures, am very sorry it read that way, its certainly not the final T&Cs we envisioned.
