Kahr Triggers

I just took my P9 out shooting today. The trigger was easy to manage and I got some very good groups, which was surprising to me since I am so used to 1911 triggers. BTW Blades67 I still have to tuck my thumb out of the way. What I did previously to improve the gripping surface was to add a Hogue Handall to it. By bulking up the grip slightly my ability to grip it has improved.

If you go to Kahrs website (kahr.com) they have links on the lefft menu that tell you the dealers who stock them and the ranges where you can shoot them in the States. Take a look.

I guess I can answer my own question.... the handall jr. is the proper one for the polymer kahrs. Mine wasnt very hard at all to get on. With the handall and my welded trigger.... my P40 feels excellent!

The Kahr's are fine guns, they have a very smooth trigger. Kahr has an elite model, the trigger pull is shorter. Excellent guns for CCW.

I decided to get in a little range time this evening, and took my K9 out with me.

The trigger was even smoother and lighter than I remembered. It really is a pretty outstanding trigger.

Anyone who says, unilaterally, that the triggers on Karhs are crap is full of that very substance.

Got an MK40, put some Cor-Bon 135 through it, handles the recoil great and the trigger is fine.

Try to find a range to rent one.

I also had a fit problem tha first time I shot one.

It was in a class competition where we used whatever gun was pointed to.

I got a cute little Kahr 9mm and my trigger finger met my thumb before it was back far enough. It was such a tiny thing I had more finger than I needed.

Once I figured it out it shot great!

hmmmmm. i sold my k40 BECAUSE of the trigger. never could get used to that lllllooooooonnnnnnggggg pull. doesn't mean they're crap though. very smooth and not too heavy.
