Kahr K9 Elite 03 Trigger Too Light?

You have to holster these guns folks, sometimes under stress and quickly.

Not trying to argue but under what conditions would you find yourself holstering under stress and quickly? I've been taught in more than one defensive pistol class that holstering is not against the clock and should be a slow and deliberate sequence. There are probably exceptions I'm not aware of.
Thanks!

All of them? I'm really glad I bought an older model used, then; that long, smooth trigger pull was their biggest selling point for me.

That statement is incorrect. First of all; the elite trigger is shorter, not lighter. Second, Kahr also offers the enhanced trigger on certain models and now a gen 2 enhanced trigger.

If someone else was gravely injured and you had to take quick action to address the situation. Or cops are about to pull up so you need to holster your weapon quickly. Or if, after drawing your weapon, you see instead you need a hands on approach but you need that approach quickly.

Actually any time you need both hands quickly but one is occupied holding the gun.

And that is why one learns to holster their gun by feel and not by sight. And a good reason to use holsters that do not collapse once the gun is drawn, not to mention either a manual safety or a heavy DA pull.

Skans,
I think i replaced only following to upgrade from NY trigger to the Elite trigger:
1. Trigger return spring
2. Trigger
3. plastic washer
4. New pin is recommended (I ended up using the original trigger pin).
Tools:
1. punch (find strong steel - I broke 1 cheap punch and the second cheap punch work).
2. hammer.
3. piece of old leather belt - set the frame on it while I punched out the trigger pin.
Others recommend using a press to press in and out the trigger pin (supposed to be easier than punch/and hammer). I do not know what punches go with presses.

I remember having a difficult time removing the trigger pin.
Be careful with the orientation of the plastic washer in the trigger.

Because the springs were not too expensive and my pistol was bought used, I replaced the striker and recoil spring which were easy to do. I also replace the mag button and spring because the mag button had rust pits.
