Oh, for God's Sake (oops).

I bought a Blade-Tech IWB and they had a fish on their web page. I'm not a Christian.
It's a good holster.

If I buy a SW then they are paying taxes to the gun hating goverment of MA.

Kimber left the gun friendly state of OR to gun hating NY. So don't buy them.

If they try to take over the world, then they
will meet their own guns again.

The Unification Church -- the Moonies is certainly NOT anti American.

In about 1976 I spent a couple of weeks inside the church in D.C. and at the national meetings investigating them for The Alliance of Religious Liberty which I supported. They feel that America is the best chance against Communism/Socialism/Democracy that the world has and thus they finance out-of-pocket the Washington Times and at one time subsidized the PMC ammo so that we'd have good ammo to use against the Communist tyrants within and without this country.

Perhaps the Washington Post or some such ilk has said the Moonies are anti-American; this would be true from the viewpoint of the Washington Post because the Moonies are against the kind of America that the Washington Post and it's paganist Marxist supporters love. Most if not all of the anti-Moonie lies are from the Washington Post and other Marxist sources; because of the hatred that Moonies have for Marxism and all it's more PC labels.

I had not considered purchasing a Kahr before; now I most likely will -- Just because they are monitored by a Moonie! I just wish they buy back PMC ammo and get it back up in quality and back down in price!!!!

Actually, it was Auto Ordinance, maker of the old Thompson Sub Machine Gun. I read that moon really liked the old Thompson's...that's why he bought Auto-Ordinance.

Who cares!!! they are excellent guns.My friend just bought an MK-9, and a K-9.
I have had a chance to shoot them both, and if I wasn't so damn broke, I would get one too!!

Despite their good reviews, I don't think I would buy from this company. :([/quote]

B..I...G....O...T... and bigot was your name-oh.....

Overlook a good gun design because of the religious affiliation of the company? Foolish. Who cares. Either buy a Kahr or don't.

Who's the bigot here? Was my argument so feeble and weak, I needed to resort to name calling to make a point?

I never told anyone what to do, I simply presented the information and my OPINION, which was still acceptable here last I checked.

I have to like everyone and everything not to be a bigot? Please. For a bunch of supposed freedom lovers, you don't accept free speech very well, do you? Or I guess you agree with free speech if it agrees with your preconceived view of the world. You probably wonder why gun onwers get such a bad rap as being loud mouthed, arrogant and ignorant fools. Well, wonder no more. Look in the mirror.

If you think moon is the messiah, fine by me. If you think they are champions of american democracy, good for you. If you want to refuse medical treatment and die for your religious beliefs or whatever, great! Just don't call me a bigot because I don't agree with you.

Disagreeing with their views (which I happen to consider more than a little out there) is one thing and does not make you a bigot. Generating a new topic, cutting and pasting articles that are biased against them, and then questioning why anyone would buy a product from them could constitute bigotry or at a minimum a bias against them. What is your motivation for this topic? Are you trying to keep us informed or testing the waters for a boycott? If the former, why? Who cares who makes them? Let the liberals bitch and moan, it shows them for the hypocritical bigots they are. If the latter, then the question of bigotry again arises, but not for the liberals.

The 1st Amendment guarantees Justin Moon the right to his beliefs, whatever they may be. The 2nd Amendment guarantees him the 1st. Is it really strange that an "outcast" group would want to be involved in the firearms industry? By doing so, they preserve their own rights and freedoms.

Tecolote: The thought of several thousand Moonies with MK9s and tommy guns trying to overthrow the U.S. Government sounds like something from a Mel Brooks movie. :)

How do you know that Mr. Moon and company want to take over the United States? Perhaps they do, but I've heard the same sort of stories about the Elders of Zion, the Catholic church, and the Mormons. I take such conspiracy theories with a LARGE grain of salt.

Hmmm... Maybe I'll start a rumor that Gaston Glock is a Scientologist. :p

Ah, so that's it, we have different opinions and now I'm a bigot. I thought only the likes of Sharpton used these tactics.

I prefer not to give my money to a cult, yes a CULT. There's a difference between religions that allow free access and others that control their members. The Moonies are not the same as Catholics, Jews, Mormons or any other open religion.

If you're ignorant of the facts I suggest a quick trip to the library and a little research.

Rosco Benson:

Your post was hilarious!

I, too, find the Moonist cult distasteful. But, will it stop me from buying their guns? Probably not.

I don't like Jerry Greenfield and Ben Cohen and their politics, but they do make the best darn ice cream in the world, so I buy them (Chunky Monkey Frozen Yogurt is the best!).

In the capitalist market place, products are judged by their merit and merit alone. What the company and its owners want to do with the profits (so long as it is legal), is none of my business.

I find that buying arms from PRC is another issue. Financially aiding a national rival that has nuclear weapons aimed at our cities is just a bit too much for me (same reason why I did not buy Soviet-made goods during the Cold War, not that that was possible).

This thread has run it's course as had the half a dozen or so other threads on the Kahr-Moonies connection in the past. I see no need for further discussion until the next member discovers the connection.
